In the modern world, it is no longer necessary to use animals for food, clothing or medicine. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

In this day and age, the question of whether using animals for food and other purposes is still necessary or not has aroused people's attention. Whereas there are a plethora of merits to utilizing animals for food, clothing items, and medical experiments, I completely agree with the statement since it is unethical and I will further elaborate in this essay.

With regards to the food source, people nowadays have a tendency to consume a plant-based diet and organic food to maintain a healthy lifestyle, They are, in some aspects, have successfully provided adequate sufficient nutrients, vitamins, and other important minerals to replace detrimental fat from eating meat. Therefore, preventing people from potential health issues. For instance, my grandfather, who is a vegetarian for 60 years, still has a good condition and rarely ill. Moreover, it is apparent that with the advancement of human development, clothes are made by various kinds of materials like man-made fabric, silk, and so on to create stunning outfits, especially there is no need to use fur or cow's skin to made long coats for winter days.

With the advent of modern technology, experiments are no longer need to test on those vulnerable animals to produce medicines. Sophisticated and complex computer programs created by experts play a significant role as they have more quick and accurate results in a short period of time. Recently, to create a new vaccine for the Covid-19 pandemic, scientists and specialists tested the safety of it by computer-programs and proved efficient. As a consequence, animals are no more need to be involved in those cruel activities.

To sum up, I reaffirm that animals are human's friends and there are countless ways to replace their existence in food, clothes, and medicines. Only when the concerted endeavors of people around the globe are made can this thorny issue be solved perfectly.
