In the last year/week/month
Hello,
As far as I know, with 'in the last year'-present perfect is usually used, but not past simple. Is it the same with 'in the last week and simillar expressions?
Eg.,I (meet) have met Debbie in the last week/month.
I have met Debbie in the last year.
