In the future, it seems more difficult to live on the Earth.Some people think more money should be spent on researching other planet to live, such as Mars.To what extent do you agree or disagree ?

Stepping into the 21st century, if present trends continue, it will become increasingly diffucults to sustain human

life on the Earth. While I agree that it is vital to tackle this problem, I believe that expenditure on research for new planets to colonise should be given a low priority and resources must be used to find other, more practical solutions.

There are two major reasons why life on Earth is becomming more and more unsustainable. One obvious problem that people comsume uncontrolled natural resources, which are being depleted as a result. For instance, fossil fuels , such as coal , gas and oil are over-exploited ,which has serious environmental impacts. People nowadays cope with depletion of natural resouces. The survival of the human race is in threats when the rising level of pollution worldwide , of the land , the oceans and the air. In Viet Nam, thousands of tons of industrial rubbish have been released illegaly into the rivers, killing aquatic life and comtaminating drinking water. In addition, the population explosion occurs drammatically. So the lack of land and accomadation is unavoidable in densely populated cities such as China, India , American..

However, opponents including me who argue that the research for a new planet on which humans could survive is a waste of valuable resources.Firstly, budget spending on space exploration , with no guarantee of success.Goverment should boost heath servives globally and better education for all. Secondly , a vast amount of funding would invest to develop cutting-edge technology. As the result to be environmentally-friendly and renewable energy. In the field of transport, prototype of flying cars running on hydrogen on magnetic track than conventional rails.

In conclusion, I consider that investment on finding a new habitable environment is waste of time and resources and effords should be concentrated on living more sustainably here on Earth.
