In the corridor of uncertainty

Ntini to Cook, no run, in the corridor of uncertainty, again, Ntini is plugging away, Cook ignores again

The sentence is a commentary part of Cricket game. I just wonder what he meant by "in the corridor of uncertainty".

I guess plugging away means "persistent" in this context though.

On the sideline : Ntini is bowling to the batsman "Cook"

I'd guess that "the corridor of uncertainty" refers to the area of the cricket pitch to which the bowler delivers the ball. It means that the batsman is uncertain about whether to play the ball or leave it, uncertain about how the ball will bounce, or something like that. Yes, "to plug away" means "to keep on trying", "to persist".
