In the blackboard?

Hello,

I just thought about it.
We can say that something is in the picture, while we can write on a piece of paper to draw the picture.
When we draw a picture on a blackboard, can we say that something is written/drawn in the blackboard?

Cheers!

systemet When we draw a picture on a blackboard, can we say that something is written/drawn in the blackboard? No, because the drawing is on the surface of the board, not inside it. We say "John is in the picture", because John was standing in a three-dimensional space which was captured by the camera or artist.
