I am confused with a structure bolded in the context below. "but not in such a way as to duplicate the work of the historian" If I paraphrase this type of structure, does this mean: "but not in such a way that he duplicates the work of the historian" ???? Could anyone here pls help me understand this by paraphrasing or rephrasing? I quoted the context below for better understanding.
"Thus the philosopher has to think about the historian's mind, but in doing so he is not duplicating the work of the psychologist, for to him the historian's thought is not a complex of mental phenomena but a system of knowledge. He also thinks about the past, but not in such a way as to duplicate the work of the historian: for the past, to him, is a series of events but a system of things known."
