Hello
What does this mean?
"While some have made deliberate attempts to hurt me, I take it in stride because I have a loving family"
Thanks

Hi,
I don't let it bother me. I don't let it interfere with my doing what I normally do.

Here's the underlying idea. I'm walking along the road. I come to an obstacle, eg a pothole. I step over it without changing the manner in which I am walking (ie without changing my stride).

Best wishes, Clive
