In spite of

Hello,

1.Though he was poor, he was generous.

I have to use 'in spite of ' to remove the subordinate clause of the #1.

A. In spite of his poverty, he was generous.

B. In spite of his being poor, he was generous.

C. In spite of he being poor, he was generous.

D. In spite of being poor, he was generous.

Which are correct?
