In some countries, the number of people who became overweight is increasing and their health condition and fitness are declining. This essay will discuss the main reason why people become obesity and some actions that can be taken to this problem.
The major cause for weigh gain are lack of awareness , having a sedentary lifestyle and the effect of a overloaded style of living. First of all, the upgrade in technology advancement which create robots to do chores has lead to lack of awareness in people about health and also made them taking less exercises to get fit. For example, they will become lazy and may sit in front of the TV for a longer time because they can rely on those machine to help them. Secondly, a busy modern lifestyle can also change the habit of eating nutritious food. Nowadays, people are working intensively and from 8 to 5 work which made them unconcious about other aspect of life including healthy lifestyle.
There are a number of simple measures that can be taken to address it. One of them is that people should raise more attention to what they eat everyday in their diets. People should avoid taking fast food,make a clear list about what to eat everyday and try to consume more vegetables and fruits rather than just hamburger and snacks. The other thing is that people should do more physical exercises and burn more calories in their life. In that way, people will be fit, manage to stay healthy and also have more efficient in their work.
In conclusion, it is beyond a doubt that obesity is a rapidly growing health concern nowadays. It is time for us live a healthy life for the sake of our next generation. A well-planned diet and plenty of exercises would give birth to a generation that is fit, healthy and above all happy.
