Essay & Composition Writing

In some countries children have very strict rules of behavior, in other countries they are allowed to do almost anything they want. To what extent should children have to follow rules?

Rules of behavior are unwritten laws, donot punish violators but require everyone to follow, and children are not an exception. But it only exist in some countries, and in others have no that rules. And I will express the reasons below.

In my point of view, with the influence of “cyber world”, the unverified information can make them not behave in accordance with social norms. So I agree that children should have strict rules of behavior so that their parents can control their behavior and teach them how to behave rightly. For instance, the young nowadays exposing spoiled friend and “unwholesome culture” tend to imitate those bad deeds. It is the fact that, many children stole money or even become murderers and cause some other social evils. Many reseaches indicate that, age of crimes is getting younger and younger. In short, a child have no behavioral education can become bad citizen for society.

On the other hand, it is sometimes unnecessary to set rules for children. They all have a deep hatred of being controlled too puritanically. That makes chlidren feel inferior about them self and dare not to communicate with the others, seriously, they can be depressed. For example, Japan, has a reputation for educating children both at school and at home. In spite of having no rules, they still have good manners in life. First, they hardly spend time on virtual world, so there are no bad things can impact on them. Second, wholesome living environment around them affect positively to them, and they can learn many right things from their community. Those are 2 main reason that make the way they behave better and better without any strict rules.

In conclusion, making rules for children is necessary to educate them. However, in some cases, it has negative impact on their mentality and spirit. The most important thing is the way children expose social networking sites and how their living environment are.
