In-sentence list in the middle of a complete thought

How can I correctly say a sentence like this? It has an in-sentence list but it's all one complete thought. The semi-colon doesn't make any sense because everything before it is a fragment. befuddled
----
Even though I know absolutely nothing about the guy except for his music, his facial expressions on stage, and his skullet; I know that I respect him.

I don't know what a 'skullet' is, but you have a choice of two approaches: Even though I know absolutely nothing about the guy except for his music, his facial expressions on stage, and his skullet , I know that I respect him. Even though I know absolutely nothing about the guy – except for his music, his facial expressions on stage, and his skullet – I know that I respect him.
