In recent years, the family structure has changed, as well as family role. What are the changes which have occurred? Do you think these changes are positive or negative?

Nowadays, People, especially citizens, have a hectic lifestyle, which directly effects on family structure. Consequently, the change of family role become more and more popular. Personally, I believe that this trend is positive for the development of society.

On the one hand, The restructuring of family role occurred normally in the modern world.

To begin with, In Eastern nations as Viet Nam, Men, with stronger physical and mental ability, usually play a vital role in earning money and feeding their family. However, in recently more and more women become breadwinners, while a number of men choose to stay at home to take care of their children. Furthermore, in recent years, household chores share equally for each family members, not only relied on a mother. My family as a typical example, my father have to cook and wash up the dishes as my mother.

On another hand, this change brings a number of positive effects on society.

Firstly, if women could make more money than men, it would be wrong to force her at home to bring up her son. Men also should have the same responsibility as women in homework. As a result, women could have the chance to pursue their careers and continue their education, if they want, which is the way to express social equality.

Secondly, sharing household chore could be considered as an effective way to help family member strength their relationship. Consequently, children could aware the role of them in their family and understand more about the feeling of others when they do this work.
