In quality or in metaphor the way of "to equal" must be different from each other

Hello,There are some interesting way to show "to equal".1. In metaphor, She is iron / She is the same as iron. / She equals iron. And "is" must be "belongs to".

A woman of / having / with iron ; A woman shows / has qualities of iron? She typically has iron. I am not certain as to say "Iron equals her best quality"?
