"IN OVERDRAFT" Correct?

How would a native say this please?

1 I went to my two banks to see which account was more in overdraft. (how would a native say this?)

Dictionary suggest yours is ok but I have seen "overdrawn" used more frequently:

.......to see which account was more overdrawn.

I went to my two banks to see which account was more overdrawn.

Somehow I'm more comfortable with "in greater deficit".

If I want to say I took out more money than i had in my account I would say I overdrew my account.

However, to compare two overdrawn accounts, I prefer using greater deficit. (if I'm wrong, please correct me!)
