Is either "to" or "in" correct in the following sentences?

1. There is a word in your book that has not been added to my book.

2. There is a word in your book that has not been added in my book.

Also, There is a word in your book that is not in mine.

"added" sounds like the books were already finished and then someone put an extra word in one book but not in the other. I don't know if that's what you meant.
