In or on the first/last day of...

Are the following sentences correct?

A - "On the first day of the festival I saw U2 and Rihanna."
B - "On the last day of the festival I saw The Rolling Stones."
C - "On the last two days I didn't like any of the bands."

Is it possible to use in in any of these sentences? (It doesn't sound right to me, especially in sentences A and B)  If so, which one is more common? In or on?

Thanks in advance.

I would put a comma after "festival" in the first two and after "days" in the third. SpeedyG Is it possible to use in in any of these sentences? (It doesn't sound right to me, especially in sentences A and B) If so, which one is more common?
