In or on or at

Hello,

I saw trees in the pasture.

I saw cows in the pasture.

Is 'in' right for pasture or 'on' or 'at'?

Regards,

MM

anonymous Is 'in' right for pasture Yes. However, trees are very unusual for a pasture. When we think of a pasture, we think of a fairly flat piece of land with no trees.
