In or on holidays

Hi,

'On/in holidays I go to my parents.'

Is it 'in' or 'on' ?

Does the meaning change if I say 'in the holidays'?

She is going to her parents' in/during her holidays. Here the focus is on the duration.

I will meet you in/during the holidays. Here the reference is to a particular stretch of period, which the listener is aware of.
