In or On

Hello everyone,

Is either "in" or "on" used correctly in the following sentences?

1. I didn't want to send you a message in the first day of the week.

2. I didn't want to send you a message on the first day of the week.

Regards,

JA

I didn't want to send you a message on the first day of the week. "On" is correct in this case. The other line says that you didn't want to send the message inside the first day of the week.

  • I didn't want to send you a message on the first day of the week.
  • "On" is correct in this case.
  • The other line says that you didn't want to send the message inside the first day of the week.
  • It's an easy mistake to make, so don't feel bad.
  • Be careful when using on/in, be sure to check carefully before you send it to anyone
