In or on

Hi,

Sentences:
1. Her seal is a constant reminder of the darkness that lurks in our minds and hearts.
2. Despite mother's deafening cries, silence reigns supreme in the minds of mankind.
3. How can a nothingness be everything in the minds of many. This is the paradox that haunts atheists.
4. His death scene is embedded in my memory.

Should I use "on" instead of "in"? Are the sentences above grammatically correct?

Thanks, A.L

1. Her seal is a constant reminder of the darkness that lurks in our minds and hearts. Correct.

2. Despite mother's deafening cries, silence reigns supreme in the minds of mankind. Grammatically correct, but doesn't make much sense!

3. How can a nothingness be everything in
