In or on?

"only students who work day and night will succeed." It is just like this kind of remark that produces pressure in anybody who is already anxious.

Usually "pressure" is followed by the preposition "on". Is it right to use "in" here? Thanks.

Well, I suppose that 'in' is possible, but I certainly prefer 'on'.

I'd say that 'on' connotes pressure from external forces; 'in' connotes pressure generated internally by the person's own anxiety. Either is correct, I'd say.
