Hey.,

In this sentence can/should I use in or an?

They say taht the response to stress, which creates a chemical called adrenalin, helps the mind and body to act quickly at /in emergencies. - (I think ist's in ? )

They believe that rather / instead of trying to manege our responses to stress with drugs or relaxation techniques, we must exploit it.
