Do you say a lesson about something or in something?

For example:

We are also giving you a basic lesson in chocolate, where we inform you why chocolate is good for your health

or

You can say to give lessons in physics but I'm not sure "in" preposition is fine for "chocolate". About and on would be okay, I think.

You can give lessons in (scholarly) subjects such as English, French, Mathematics.

I think Chocolate(s) is too narrow a subject, but perhaps that in a cooking school that might constitute a subject
