In, On, Off, Out of way

Suppose when I go home, I always walk through the same set of streets. There is a supermarket next to one of the streets. There is also a library a mile off one of the streets.

"There is a supermarket (in / on) my way home."
"There is a library a mile (out / off) my way home."
