In on at

Hi, I'm still learning english on a moderately beginner level, so please do bear with me if you find mistakes here and there. Right to my question though, I'm curious if there's an easy way to remember or better yet to get myself accustomed to using in, on, and at. I've gotten the hang on using it on sentences like "on Saturday", "in February", "in this year" but sometimes I got confused when I'm using it on something like "in or on a bus", "in or at the night". I feel like I always use the wrong preposition when I'm talking fast. Thanks.

I think there is no rule in this case. You should just keep practicing (reading, watching movies, listening to audio books, and etc.) and after hearing and using them tens of times you'll never forget them.
