In my way / blocking my view

Hi teachers,

If you're sitting in front of the TV, and someone is standing between you and the TV, would you say "I'm sorry you're in my way" or "you're blocking my view"?

Thank you.

Hi Clive,

Thanks for answering my question.

Is "you're in the TV" correct? I'm not sure if I heard it right.

No, that's not right.

You're in the way of the TV or You're in the way, but not You're in the TV.

(A person appearing in a television program is "on" TV.)
