In my room

1-Our cat was injured in my room.
2-In my room, our cat was injured.

Could these sentences be used if the cat was in an injured state in the room, but did not get injured there?
Instead of:
3-Our cat lay injured in my room.

Consider:
a-The whole house was a bedlam. Our dog was barking in the kitchen. The children were jumping about in the living room. John was crying in the bathroom. Our cat was injured in my room. (She did not get injured there. She lay there injured.)

Gratefully,
Navi.
