In my life or of my life?

Hello!

1. Which sounds more natural, a or b?
a) Yesterday was the most wonderful day in my life.
b) Yesteday was the most wonderful day of my life.

2. Are the two interchageable?
a) He is going to transfer to another school.
b) He is going to change to another school.

3. Why is b) wrong and c) correct, when "most" is the supelative of "much", and "best","well" or "good"? This doesn't make sense, does it?
a) I like it very much.
b) I like it (the) most.
c) I like it (the) best.

Thanks in advance.
