In many countries, very few young people read newspapers or follow the news on TV. what do you think are the cause of this? What solutions can you suggest?

These days, nearly all young people have a tendency to not care about reading and watching news. There are various reasons and some solutions which I will elaborate below.

First of all, Time is one of the issues that prevent young people from reading or watching news because they do not have enough time to do so. For example, in my country, most young people have to work and study at the same time , they only have 4 to 5 hours for their rest time, not including sleep time. Secondly, the way that news is delivered is very raw and old, it can not get attention from the young because it is designed for an adult audience and is not presented in a format that teenagers find attractive.

There are some strategies that can be used to encourage young people to keep abreast of the news. The first thing is to reduce time for work and study, and get more time for other activities. I think we should cooperate with some famous social media because the news in social media is updated faster than in Television or newspaper. Furthermore, The young are using social media a lot. That is why I think cooperating with some famous social media is an excellent method to get attention from young people. One of the major solutions is improving content. We should make content suitable for adults and young people. For instance, we can use some funny situations in the news to make it more attractive.

In brief, the traditional method is the major cause that makes reading and watching news boring and not interesting with young people, but we have just changed the format of the news a little that can make them a lot better.
