Grammar

in large / in a seven

Hi,

If I am in a shop and want to buy clothes, can I ask for a bigger / smaller size lik this:
"Can I try these shoes in a seven, please?"
"Can I have these pants in large?"
"Can I have these pants in a larger number"?

Thank you!

Top answer

""Can I have these pants in a larger number"? "Number" is no good, and "have" is strange. "

"Number" is no good, and "have" is strange. I think you mean "Can I see these pants in a larger size?" or "Do you have ..." or "Can I get ...."

Hey, thank you! So to say: "Do you have these shoes in a 7?" and "Do you have these pants in large?"
