In inverse relation

COuld you help me fix this sentence please?

1 The comments people post on threads seem to be in inverse relation to the size of the thread.

The shorter the thread the less comments there are.

Thats the only sentence I could come up with with INVERSE RELATION? How would you correct the sentence and is the second sentence ok?

thank you

Hello. Are you sure this sentence is the one you want to use? " Use "fewer" for things you can count and "less" for things you measure.

Hello. Are you sure this sentence is the one you want to use? "Inverse" means in reverse relation; for instance, you could say "The number of times I attend the theater is in inverse relation to the number of times I stay home."

For you example, it seems as though it would be more accurate to say "The number of comments people post on threads is in inverse relation to their disinterest."
