In his office/comma

1) Last Friday, I saw him for the second time, in his office.

Is the punctuation of that sentence acceptable?

Does the sentence suggest that the first time I saw him it was not in his office?

I think that is what the presence of the comma suggests. Am I correct?

Gratefully,

Navi
