"In harm's way" Using a verb as a noun

Is the phrase "in harm's way" considered correct English? I would say "no" since harm is a verb and not a noun.

Hi dbbolick, welcome! Actually "harm" can be a noun as well as a verb. The phrase "do no harm" expresses one of the principal precepts all medical students are taught in medical school and is a fundamental principle for the emergency medical services.

Best regards, - A.

Edit. Hi, A. Stars. I added a bunch of stuff about the Hippocratic Oath and then deleted it. What do they say about great minds

I don't know why but this phrase has always left me with a feeling that seems to go against the grain. That feeling probably comes more from the overuse of the phrase. Thanks for the reply.
