In good form?

Hi,

Can I use “to not be in good form” to express that someone, at that time, is not able to act so well in some area as he or she is capable of in general (because of having a bad day, or being tired or just not in harmony with themselves for some reason)? Or what could I say which has this meaning? Could you let me know, please?

Thank you.
