Hi,

It's not wrong.

But I'd say that 'with glee' is more common.

Thanks, Clive. I am a different Anon responding. Just curious... is it 'in helplessness' or 'out of helplessness.' They both seem fine to me. Which is more common?

Hi,

Both are OK.

in helplessness focuses on your situation, your mood

out of helplessness focuses on why you did/do something

Google suggests the latter is more common.
