"He is good at this genre of movies." "He is good in this genre of movies." Which of the above two sentences is more appropriate ? Although "good" generally goes with "at", in this case "genre" is equivalent to field as in "He is an expert in this field". So I think "in" should be used.
Top answer
I think it depends on his role. For example, if he's an actor I'd say "in", but if he's a director I'd use "at".
