In formal writing, which is more appropriate?

1) I am earning high grades.

2) I am earning good grades.

Does anyone have any opinions/comments?

Hi, Both are correct. The term 'good grades ' is the more common of the two. I wouldn't say that 'good' and 'high' necessarily mean the same thing.
