In early

Is 'in early summer' correct here?

I will let you know if I visit LA in early summer.

Thanks

This is grammatically correct. However, "in early summer" is a very poetic kind of phrase, too poetic for everyday speech, especially in association with a place like LA. You'd more likely hear: I'll let you know if I visit LA this summer.

Thanks a lot for the confirmation teacher.

I am just curious, does 'if I visit LA' in that sentence imply when I am actually in LA?
