In + cooker

Could you tell me whether all of (A), (B), and (C) are right in the following sentencs?

Cook a half chicken in the [ (A) oven / (B) microwave / (C) gas range ].

Also, can I omit 'the' after 'in' in the above sentence? (For exampe, 'in oven', 'in microwave', 'in gas range', etc.)
