In cities and towns all over the world, the high volume of traffic is a problem. What are the causes of this and what actions can be taken to solve this problem?

In some large metropolises, traffic jams is on the top concern of citizens because of its bad consequences. This problems caused by 2 reasons which could be solved with the efforts of both government and citizens.

Because of economy’s demand, the development of urbanization is the first reason for traffic congestion. Particularly, a significant number of industrial companies, factories have been constructed in recent half decade in order to fulfil the obligation of global economy which caused the suburbanization. For instance, those companies have settled down in the main streets of Hanoi that not only does they lead to the high volume of traffic but they also increase traffic accidents. Another reason for that is the lack of public transport for citizens. In particularly, the quantity of public vehicles such as trains, buses are not abundant to meet the transport demand of residents.

In order to solve these tough problems, the government should prioritize expenditure on investing in rural area. Specifically, factories and industrial firms could be built and expanded in the countryside. Thanks to that, the volume of traffic congestion in urban centers might decline step by step. Besides, public transports also need to be improved in order that car users would change to travel by bus or trains. For example, in recent years, a number of buses in Hanoi have been accelerate increasingly. It is fact that not only can passengers go to destination in main streets but they also can go to further places which were only travelled to by car in the past.

In conclusion, two reasons above are causes the thick of transportation in some urban areas. These actions which I determined should be taken in order to make good traffic’s shortcomings.
