In case +?

Hi
Ex.: "Just in case you THOUGHT I am mad at you".
Can you use the imperfect subjunctive to express possibility or doubt with the idiom "just in case", or should you use "thought" only as simple past when referring to an action in the past?

Your clause (not a sentence) is correctly formed, but I'm not sure it's an example of the subjunctive.

I think this is normally better:

"Just in case you thought I was mad at you."
