In between?

Hi guys,

Can I use in between as follows:

There are meat and fish left in the fridge. You can have them in between.

What I mean: maybe you can have meat for lunch and fish for dinner...

Hi, Sorry, your words don't have that meaning at all. You need to say it some other way entirely. Clive.

Hi Clive,

Thanks for your reply.

If I still want to say: There are meat and fist left in the fridge. You can have them...

Can you suggest the right words for that?

There's a lot of leftovers in the fridge, meat, fish. Maybe we can have the meat for lunch and the fish for dinner, or vice versa?
