Hi,

Which one is correct?

(a) He is swimming at / in the pool .

Say 'at' if you are thinking of the pool as a location. Say 'in' if you are thinking that he is surrounded by / immersed in the water.

The same general idea applies to the zoo and to the forest. ie Say 'in' if you are thinking that the animals are surrrounded by the walls of the zoo, or that
