in all odds/recap

Yes, Microsoft will, in all odds, port Mass Effect to the PC anywhere from a year or two after the release on the 360, if only to help recap some profit (odds are that the default 360 graphics will be the high detailed settings on a PC anyway).

1. Does "in all odds" mean "by all odds"?

2. I've looked up all the meanings of recap in the dictionary but none of them seems to fit in here, is it short for recapture here?

Thanks.

I think the "recap" was supposed to be recoup, which means "to recover all or part of a loss."
