Is this sentence correct please?
I was given my first name in accordance with my last name. The only reason I have this first name is because it rhymes with my last name.

Thank you

Your sentences are OK. However, you could alternatively say: I was given my first name (simply) because it rhymes with me last name. Remove "simply" if that was not the only reason you were given that first name.
