'in a short window'

Hi,
How should this ‘in a short window’ be understood. Could you paraphrase it for me?
“Paul understands the limitations of our job and let's face it, it's a short window, and it's not really based on skill”
Thanks for any help.

Anonymous it's a short window Your title "in a short window" may just be a mistake; but it sounds like an expression that means "a small amount of time". Normally, the conversation to which I am referring, could be paraphrased, "We have just three hours to finish the job, which is a short window. "
