In a circle / in a round circle

Can I say,

Last Monday was (our) Teachers Day. Many pupils came early to school.

(i) They cleaned their classroom and arranged the tables neatly / neat and tidy in a circle near the wall.

(ii) Some pupils swept the floor and arraged the tables in a round circle / circle.

(iii) All tables are put in the middle of the class and chairs are put aside / were put near the wall.

Dear Vincent I don't think you should say "round circle" - all circles are round - so that does not look right. I don't think you should say "round circle" - all circles are round - so that does not look right. Apart from that, I agree that these sentences are good..
