In a cafe

In a cafe
My friends and I were sitting in a cafe. It was noisy there and the music was too loud.
A friend said, "We can transfer outside" (she is fluent in English though is not a native speaker.) Is it correct to say "transfer" in this case?
What is a common way to say that?

Top answer

Transfer is associated with changing buses to get to an ultimate destination, or changing job locations within a company. It is not normal to use in this context. We can move / sit outside.
