How would you write the following sentence?

The lamp looks nice in the catalog but It would be nice to see it in a bedroom context to give me a better idea.

There's an infinite way of phrasing that sentence, but I'd say something like While the lamp looks nice in the catalogue, i'd prefer to see it within a bedroom context - just to give me a better feel. or maybe While the lamp does look nice in the catalogue, I'd really need to see it in an actual bedroom to be sure.
