hi, do I use "in " correctly?

sentence1:

In my BSc degree, there was training in using Microsoft Word.

sentence2:

There was training in using Microsoft Word in my BSc degree.

For Sentence 2, I'd suggest:
There was a training on Microsoft Word in my B.Sc. degree course.
There was a training in the Computer Lab on Microsoft Word for my B.Sc. degree course.
